There's a difference between deductive and ampliative reasoning; making a deduction is done by compiling evidence and using it to achieve a relevant and ultimately beneficial conclusion to an argument for the deductive party. Ampliative reasoning is done through achieving a conclusion that you could say is true - and there's no way to state it's false because there's no relevant evidence that indicates otherwise.

This is neither of those.
