Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
When i was Admin before it was easier to deal with rulebreakers more than Mod because of being able to use the physgun to pick up rulebreakers instead of going to tab menu to freeze them. The admin role has more responsibility but i feel like i can handle that responsibility.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
Because i was admin before and not mod at the moment i will explain a situation from my last application. There was this guy called ShinraGaming, i was dealing with someone in a sit and he starts randomly shooting me so i tp him up and give him a verbal warning he does it again so i warn him. After he kills the person i was dealing with i ask Mexi to come and jail him but he ltaps so he bans him. if i was admin at the time it would of been much easier.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
Hello there! My name is Kodi and i will be teaching you the basics of being moderator on the zarp SSRP server! So buckle up and make sure you pay attention!
Firstly i will teach you some of the commands that moderators have:
Freeze:
This command freezes the person so they cannot move. This is usually used for RDMERS, people breaking NLR and most of the main rulebreaks.
Kick:
This command kicks someone off the server which means it forces them to leave this is normally used if there are no admins around and there is a prop spammer.
Unban from Job:
This command unbans someone from the job they have been banned from or demoted from. This is usually used for people who have been false demoted from jobs.
Mute chat and mute globally:
(Mute chat) This command makes it so the person who you have used this command on cannot talk in chat as in type in chat. You usually use this if someone is adverting, chat spamming etc.
(Mute Globally) This command mutes somone in their voice so they cannot use voice chat. This is used when someone is either mic spamming or being disrespectful through their mic.
Slay:
This comand kills someone which makes them lose everything they had in their hotbar for example if someone was slayed with their psg in their hotbar they would lose it. This would be used for rulebreaks like Mutants using guns and refusing to drop them.
Teleport, Goto, Bring and Back.
(Teleport) This command teleports you to the place you are facing so wherever your crosshair is and you use this command it will take you there. This is used for teleporting on roofs to sits and catching rulebreakers.
(Goto) This command teleports you to a certain player for example if you needed to goto someone for a sit you would use this command to get there. You can also use it for teleporting to rulebreakers.
(Back) This command takes you back to spawn or your last location. This is often used for teleporting out of the admin arena or teleporting back from sits and teleporting people back.
(Bring) This comand is used for bringing someone to you or to someone else. You rarely need to use it to tp someone to someone else. You use this command if someone is dead because teleport doesn't work when someone is dead. So when someone has suicide abused you can use bring instead of teleport.
The Warning system: This is the system that notifies you if someone is a rulebreaker and has broken rules recently, you use this if someone has broken a rule that interupted someone elses RP and has done it more than once. The format for this command is /warn (STEAM ID) (REASON) the reason why we use steam id's is because if you use someone's someone else can have the name for example #Jordan4Owner and if you do /warn Jordan RDM it will most likely warn the wrong person so always use steam id's!
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Firstly i would wait for the admin handling the appeal to talk to me and i would explain what happened and i would most likely give the user another chance becuase it is their first time but if they do it again the ban would be significantly longer.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words):
I think i should be chosen because i am active and i am familiar with most of the staff members on the SSRP staff team. I also have much experience of being an admin since i have been ssrp admin around 3 times xD. Unfortunatly i cannot play for the day i am submitting this application because of the maintenance so i hope that doesn't affect my activity. Anyway i should be chosen because i am friendly and i am active i also interact with most of the staff members and try to help as many people as possible. (I know this isn't 150 words but i feel like have put enough effort into this application
)
