The immense server lag last month (while you weren't playing) was caused by the Death Scene function. It would be nice if it could come back, but only if it were fixed to stop it causing lag, which (I have spoken with Max and Tyler about it) is unlikely.

Real shame that we did lose it, since it was very helpful, but the lag it caused lost us a large chunk of the playerbase and made the game unplayable.
