The moderation teams duty is to enforce the TOU and if they feel as a post breaks TOU they are allowed to edit or remove it as its their job to do so. But in this case i think it would have been better to perhaps inform afrohat of this and he himself could have removed the names and kept their dates noted incase of them getting unbanned. But onion did nothing wrong here, he did his job and have all the rights to do so.
