How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
I have handled a lot this week, I've had to deal with prop spammers, hackers, and extreme minges. I even handled more than 20 F1s in like 15 minutes (Gathered up to 10 in 5 minutes due to SSRP Meeting).
I've also helped some users out if they are new to the server.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team?
I believe I would be a good candidate for the super administrator team for many reasons:
Activity:
These past 4 weeks trying to get admin and this prior week since my promotion, I've been handling many F1s for a collective amount of hours, even when my schedule was packed due to sports after my school hours. I've tried my hardest getting admin, and I'll definetly try 3x harder to reach my promotion.
Loyalty and Honesty:
I am very loyal to the staff/lead team. I understand I had a little rough going in my time as a moderator, but I promise you it wont even matter. I'd never abuse/missuse my powers, I wouldn't come this far just to get demoted/banned.
Dedication:
I am very dedicated to become Super Admin. I'm more than ready to help users, help newly promoted moderators in training sessions, helping Moderators/Admins in hard situations. Helping out the community, and definetly trying to make ZARP a great server.
Confidence and Leadership:
I'll always make sure that as my role as an SA, I will make sure every staff member is doing their job correctly. Also ensuring that I can help out in the meetings whenever I'm needed.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
Really the hardest thing I had to deal with is handling so many F1's at once. Mainly because at the later hours not many of the staff members are online. Or during meetings when staff members can't handle F1's.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
If someone made an F1 Report:
I would ask the user/lower rank staff member which staff member they are accusing and the reasoning. I would then ask the staff member his/her side of the story. Then I would ask the accuser for any sort of proof. If the proof is valid, then I would take action. I would talk to the staff member if the rule break is minor (1 count of RDM, NLR, or missusing powers like leaving someone frozen, or mass teleportation [Teleporting a large amount of people]), if moderate I would strip the powers of the staff member (Warning for no reason, missusing God Mode/Cloak during raids). I would then ban the user if the rule break is extreme (Random Ban, Mass RDM while Godded, extreme abuse).
On the forums:
If Staff Member needs to be talked to
Hello,
I have looked over your report and your evidence, which is valid, and have concluded that Player X was abusing and I will have a discussion with him/her. Thank you for taking the time to make this report, and sorry for the inconvience.
If Staff Member needs to be Demoted
I have looked over your report and your evidence, this is not tolerable at all. These actions are unacceptable. This staff member will have his rank effective immediately. Thank you for making this report, and sorry you had to deal with this unacceptable situation.
If Staff Member needs to be Banned These actions are completely unacceptable. Player X will be banned for his actions and will be stripped of his rank. Thank you so much for taking your time in your report.
If the evidence isn't valid or no action is needed
I have looked over your report and your evidence. If doesn't appear that Player X abused or broke any rules. Unless if you find any other evidence I will not take any action against Player X.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation;
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I would first ask the staff member why he/she banned the user for a long amount of time. If its for Mass RDM but its the users first big offense then I would ask the staff member to lower it to like 1 week or 1 week and 4 days. If its for something like Propspam or Hacking, I would let ban stand, until there is a ban appeal and the user is truly apologetic.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation;
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would ask the Staff Member what the problem is. If he/she is unable to handle the situation alone, I will assist the staff member in the F1. If he is completely unable to handle the situation, I will ask the staff member to please abort the F1, and I'll take over for the staff member.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation;
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would first ask the staff member what rules did Player X break. I would then spectate Player X. If I don't catch him/her breaking any rules, I would ask the staff member if he has any proof. If he does and its valid, then I would confront the staff member and remind him of the rule he broke. If he continues to rule break and messes up RP for some users despite talking to the staff member and/or verbal warnings, I will strip his powers until he learns his lesson.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation;
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and/or sparks and argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would begin with asking the staff member to stop acting in a disrespectful manner and stop arguing with other members of staff. I would ask the staff member to explain what happened and why they are being disrespectful and arguing with other members of staff. I would make sure that the staff member had calmed down and no more arguments would occur. I'd tell the staff member that his behavior is not acceptable, and tell him not to do it again.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation;
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I would first confront the staff member and ask him why is he/she is rulebreaking. I would then talk to the staff member on TS, and remind him/her of the rule he/she is breaking.
If the staff member is breaking rules deliberately, I would demote the staff member on the spot, and take action. I will punish the staff member if ban is needed.
