I think what Jordan is saying here about being a leader is true on many levels. Firstly, onion, nobody here is doubting your administration capabilities - you're a great admin and when I was here just a few months ago you were very active and helpful. However, in a management position like the lead team you have to be able to manage people effectively. You don't need to be lead team to help administrators or moderators, doing this shows the lead team you're showing interest in the role. If it is true you're asking basic questions, asking questions is good if you're confused about something tricky or complex, but if they're basic blanket questions that most people could find for themselves, it's probably not time yet.
