It's sad to see that you are working so hard and still get a lot of shit from the players. But do not resign over this. Over the course of my own time as a staff, I learned that I was staff because I wanted to catch the rulebreakers and increase the players' experience on the server. If you are like me, the feeling you sit with inside when you have handled a f1 and caught a rulebreaker, doesn't it overweight the shit you get?

No matter. If you decide to resign, that is your call. But I suggest taking a break instead, and then if you still feel like resigning when coming back, go ahead.
