There's no rule that allows this, they made rules for things like KOSing people who throw bug bait etc if there was an item this rare and you could kill players for it then chances are they would make it against the rules to do so. If this is the case the amount of players I could of shot with this out would be sky rocketing. I can just go place a regular white printer wait for some guy to come up with the scanner near my base and shoot him nice to know, this is like walking down the street with a printer in your hand and shooting the player or a Health and Armor Charger because it's a raid able entity.
This isn't something to KOS players for and who ever came up with it really doesn't understand how SSRP works, if this is the case I guess we can shoot anyone who sees our Health Chargers? Scanning is just gaining knowledge of where something is not raiding you, you gain knowledge by seeing someone run with a printer or charge from a health charger so if that's the case bye to everyone who sees me heal.
