Your father shouldn't prioritize watching football above making sure you're able to do your homework. I'd recommend that you speak to someone at your school and you tell them that the truth about the situation.

Not sure where you live but in my country there are certain hours at schools were pupils can do their homework with a teacher after class. I know quite a few people that go or went to stuff like that due to either them having a hard time doing homework at home or because they liked to have a teacher at hand when doing it.

Personally I've never really understood the concept of homework or why it's important. Sure if someone is failing something then it might be reasonable for them put in some extra time at home to make sure they succeed. But other than that most people learn stuff better at school rather than at home. From what I can tell homework is given out for the hell of it, not because it's needed for people to meet the requirements to be given a grade at the end of the year.
