Yea it currently counts as a world kill, I'm still looking on how to change it.
Tho they shouldn't explode when a T runs through it.. I tested that and it didn't explode. If it did it would be good if you could provide a video of that happening.

Generally speaking thats because the entity doesn’t have the owner set on it. So the game doesn’t know who to attribute the kill to. I would make sure that the entity it creates has this called on it with the proper player. wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Entity/SetOwner

when they were first implemented and i tested it in the morning they were working fine and giving the correct points/xp, it was only after the amount of tripwires you receive was changed from 2 to 1 that it stopped giving the rewards. And for the issue of it being triggered by a T walking through, i don’t think that actually happened, i think an innocent walked into it and there was a traitor stood within range so the explosion killed them.

I watched as my own t buddy walked through the trip mine and died while no innocents were even close. May be a rare scenario but it has still happened nonetheless
