Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match is usually called "RDM". RDM happens when you kill a person without a valid reason. For example, [X] is running around in the city, then gets randomly shot in the head by [Y] for no reason. Which can lead to a warning or further punishments.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life rule is usually called "NLR". NLR Happens if you die in a district, and you run straight back without waiting 3 minutes. On your screen, it says "NLR : (time). When time is over, you can go back to the district. For example,
[X] Gets raided and got killed by [Y]. [X] Decides to run back, before [Y] can destroy the items inside. This can lead to a warning or further punishments.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming happens when you are using Character information out of Character chat. For Example, [X] is looking for [Y], and uses /OOC, and says: "[Y] Where are you? I can't find you". You cannot use information that could help people in OOC. This could lead to a warning or further punishments.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player [X] accuses player [Y] for RDMing him, the console log shows that player [Y] killed player [X].
The first thing i would do, is that i would bring them both to a roof, or some kind of an area where we could talk. Then i would ask [Y] why he killed [X], and if [Y] Says, "He shot me first". I would ask [X] what happened. If they said different things, i would have to ask them if they have any evidence. If they don't, i would let them go without a warning because i do not have any proof of what happened. If they do have proof, i would check what happened.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player [X] accuses player [Y] for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
First, i would check the logs if any "NLR" appears. Then, i would bring them both to some place we could talk. Then, i would ask them both what happened. If they both say different things, i would ask for evidence since the logs do not show where they died, or what happened. Logs can only shows Death/Kill logs.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player [X] calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
First, i would use the OOC/pm chat to tell him that he can not say that in OOC. He needs to /advert that since it helps people in OOC. If he used OOC and says the same thing, or almost the same thing. I would teleport to him, and explain the "Metagame" rule to him.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words)
I should be chosen because i've got a lot of expericence from other servers. I've been a staff member on several populated servers, and i've done pretty good on all of them.
Zarp is basically the only server i play on. Without Zarp, my time would be boring, since i don't really have any "friends" here, since they all moved. And recently, i hopped out of school, for personal reasons. So now. I will have a lot of weeks to spend on this server. And the reason for applying is, that i would appreciate to be a part of the staff team, to help them all out. It's really annoying when i get rdm'd, NLR'd of any kind. And there's almost no Staff on, and i see them working really hard. And it takes around 30min+ for them to help me. I would just like to help them all out, the whole community.
