Why don't you two have separate accounts to prevent this from happening? It would cause a lot less hassle.

Also, if you are telling the truth, the punishment should be reduced to a week or 2, instead of getting unbanned. You do deserve some time off the server for causing trouble towards others in my opinion, even if it wasn't you and it was your friend.
