: I will be honest and say that when I just got mod... I was a slight minge... But I have improved loads since then!
I had a few hiccups in the beginning(Someone wanted to get me demoted for abusing when I just accidentaly clicked E on his printer I was just about to goto him and give him the money but then he jumped up and I gave him all of the money+100k and said sorry, told him to have a nice day and went away. And then another abuse report {I know I might seem like a huge minge right now} for marking an f1 as finished without even talking to the f1 maker. The thing is I literally was just handling another f1 and then crashed so I really don't know how that happened.) but those were resolved(thanks Blocked).
I have learned how to deal with f1 situations and use the commands smoothly.
About f1s btw, I asked Jerry to check my f1 count last friday and he said I did 5 even though I was sure I did atleast 4 that day and an absolute minimum of 5 any other day(on some days more if they were easier, less frustrating, when I had more time, etc.). My roleplay activity has also gone to shit a little bit because I like moderating so much. When I was on server 2 once I was happy with the amount of f1s I had done and I gave myself a little break so I went to the mines and started mining, after like 5 minutes the f1s started coming in like rockets. I tought someone else would handle them (I felt so guilty for not doing them) but after 10 or so minutes they were still there and piling up. Literally no one was handling them. So I became Mod On Duty(losing my diamond pick in the proscess because I didn't holster XD) and started working on them, I must have done atleast 5 and someone else finally came in and did the rest. If it's you reading who helped me then thank you so much !

Yes this starts with the cliche only mod on the server .
So I was the only mod on the server and I was casually handling some f1s and patrolling around looking for rulebreakers.
And well all I can say is... I found one... Or more like 3. I was just done with an f1 and I was walking on the street when someone RDMs me. I couldn't see his name so I checked the logs and I TPd to him. The second I TPd he(or what I presumed to be him) shot me again, but now I waited before I respawned and saw that it was a group of guys. So I tried to TP back to see their names and I got one of them so I got killed and froze them then TPd back and got the last name, I froze the 2 other guys aswell and TPd to them and well... they shot me again. So I TP to them again and just stand behind them and kept asking them questions but they simply didn't respond I was just about to warn them when they logged off. I was starting to get a bit annoyed now but the good thing was they were gone and hopefully weren't coming back. So I carried on with my moderating and then I noticed I finally got another f1, it was for proppush, so I TPd to the maker and low and behold there is one of the guys from earlier, he was the guy proppushing. I immediatly froze him and was asking him questions again. He still wasn't answering so I just warned him for RDM from earlier and PROPPUSH and kicked him as he was an obvious troll.
Some admin powers would have really helped in this situation like ban and god.
Another time I was the only mod on the server and someone was propblocking the tunnels between districts on server 1. So I first asked him to remove the props, he didn't so I warned him and kicked him. Then some time later he came back and did it again so I kicked him (and warned him) again. He then came back a third time so I just copied his steamID and kicked him and then asked an admin later to ban him though I don't think anyone actually did ;-;.

So let's start shall we?
I will teach you everything you need to know to be a succesfull mod starting with
-The Commands
and then following it up with
-The F1 Menu

COMMANDS
/tp RpName/steamID
This command is used to teleport a player to where you mouse is pointing at. Handy to take someone to a roof or other secluded area. Be sure to always use /goto first in f1s to avoid annoyance. You can also type /tp without any name or steamID to tp yourself to where your mouse is pointing at, it's really, really handy to bind this. To bind open the console(f10 or ~ <-- that button) and type bind <key> "say /tp(or any other command)"
/goto RpName/steamID
Use this command to teleport to someone for example an f1 maker. As I have already said before always use this command first in f1s to avoid any annoyance.
/freeze or unfreeze RpName/steamID [length]
This command can be used to freeze someone in place if they are for example running from a sit, shooting you in a sit, proppushing, etc. When you tp the accused rulebreaker to you in an f1 don't immediatly freeze them because they might find it annoying and they might not co-operate as well.
/slay RpName/steamID [Kill Type]
You can use this command when there is for example a hobo,citizen,(job that's not supposed to have a big gun) to kill them. Or when someone has broken NLR. You can slay people in 4 kinds of ways, normal which causes them to fall dead on the floor, quiet which immediatly "removes" and respawns them and the 2 other ones I feel like you should find out on your own
/kick RpName/steamID
You should rarely use this command, you can use it if someone is mass-RDMing, Proppushing, etc. when there are no admins on to ban them.
You can acces all of these commands via the TAB menu. Just click on the person's name. You can also see (and copy) their steamID here.

There is also one command that you can only acces in the TAB menu, the Unban From Job menu, you can use this command to unban someone from a job if they have been randomly demoted.
The F1 Menu
Here you can see all the active F1s(Admin Requests) the warnings and the logs. I'll take you into all of these.
Admin Requests: Here you can see... well.. all the active admin requests which are the F1s player have made. You can see how long ago the F1 was made, which player made it, the acctual F1 (RDM, PROPPUSH, etc.) and who is handling it. When you right click on the F1 you can choose to handle it or discard it as spam/abuse. When you have chosen handle you get some more options like:Bring, GOTO, mark as finished and abort handling this.
Warnings
Here you can check player's recent warning. Handy when you are deciding to warn a player.
Logs
Here you can see all the connects, disconnects, namechanges, jobs players have become, kills, arrests, hits and warrants with a handy time stamp next to it. You can use this for checking if someone broke NLR, etc.
F6 Menu
Here you can check all of the punishements players have received: Warns, Bans, Anticheats, Jails, etc. This is also handy for just checking if a player has any recent warns.

So that was a quick "guide" to being a moderator. Remember to NEVER abuse any of your moderator powers.

I should be promoted because I just love being a moderator and becoming an admin would help a lot. I recently had some problems with Gmod and ZARP, it said the server was running on an older version of the game. So I tried updating Gmod but I didn't know how. It finally magically updated but after that I still had problems connecting to the server. So I kinda just reset my computer and then had to re-download everything: My antivirus, Chrome, Steam, etc. etc. During this whole time I had a constant feeling of guilt that I couldn't do f1s and that my activity was going down. I also think that by the time I'm writing this I have about 130-ish F1s done, everytime I ask a Super Admin or higher they say I have done like 10 which is definately not right I'm 100% sure of that.
And also I'm sorry and also really thankfull that I didn't get demoted when I was inactive I know I should have contacted someone. Anyways back on topic, I also used to play on my xbox a lot (yes I know I'm a console peasant) but I'm honestely thinking of selling it and all my games now because I'm always busy with zarp. I also might have done a little less F1s this week because I'm trying to roleplay more again but then I just come across rulebreakers or someone calling fo rhelp in OOC and then I just end up becoming Mod On Duty and patrolling around the server looking for rulebreakers and helping people out.
And ofcourse Moderators have a very limited selection of commands and the admin commands would help massively in doing F1s or patrolling/spectating or ...
