Hi everybody at Zarp! This will be my third application for SSRP moderator! I've asked several staff members on what they look for in a staff application, and I've taken that advice to this topic! Consider changes from my last application.

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match is killing another player with no valid RP reason to do so.
One example would be player X is walking down the street as a citizen to his shop, and player Y kills him from a rooftop, because player Y was 'having fun'.
Massive Random Death Match is all of the same above, but a larger amount of people are involved.
For example, several (say, 5) players are talking to each other in the street, player X kills all of the players, along with others at once because he was 'trolling'.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule is EITHER returning to your death point when killed in under 3 minutes. For example, you died in a raid, and you go back to defend it, or it is dying in the RP world, and using knowledge from your past life to apply it in your new life.
For example, knowing that so and so killed you, and killing them back.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
(Updated [2]) Metagaming is using other out of character actions to relate them back to the RP world.
For example, a base is being raided, and someone calls in OOC chat "[SM] Base is being raided!", which has happened before.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
Player Y would be taken to a rooftop to be evaluated on why player X was RDMed (if that is the case). If there are some acts of RDM that seem to be happening, both players would be taken to a rooftop.
Player X will explain his side of the story, and then I will let player Y explain their side. If any players continuously interrupt one another or me, they will be gagged and/or muted.
After hearing both sides, I would ask for proof. If either players hand out valid proof on how one is guilty, the RDMer or abuser would be warned.
If proof exists that it was not RDM, both players would have the rule explained to them, and be put back where they were.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would first take the NLR breaker to the rooftop, in which he/she will be asked to explain why they were breaking NLR. If there was a valid reason to break it, then there will be no charges taken (assuming proof is shown). If there are some rule breaks, warns will be placed (assuming there is proof).
If no proof is shown, then the F1 will be called off.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
In out of character chat, players are assumed to be only talking about things not relative to the RP world. If that does apply to the RP world.
Player X would ask to explain why they were doing this, and after they explain, assuming the actual chat is valid proof to this, player X will be verbally warned.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I know I've said this over and over again in my last applications, but I'll say it again, I want to help the others that are new to the server as well. While there are times that new players on the server have only one intention, to cause others pain and sadness, I know that the slight sliver of hope out there loves Garry's Mod, and alas, there are other rule breakers that make him want to leave. I want to help that new player learn what the others are doing wrong, and show the other players who the real leaders of Zarp are, not the staff, not the users, but the ones who follow the rules on Zarp.
With that, I also wish that the ones who break rules on purpose to cause others pain to face their destiny. When it comes to DarkRP, it required the player to have lots of concentration, skill, and knowledge. Sadly, for someone to troll, it only requires a mouse and keyboard.
(I know at this point in the thread, it sounds like I'll just be saying things that say I'm better than any other staff member, but don't take it that way.) With dual monitors on my setup, I'll be able to go on duty and wait until I've solved most/all of the F1's available, and I can go on to do other tasks while I wait, so I can keep F1's open at all times so that I don't leave the server immediately or switch jobs once my duties are done.
I'm also a great communicator with other people on Zarp. To this day, I'm nearly sure I have no enemies for any non-logical RP or IRL reason. I can also keep a great temper even when another person in a sit may be screaming at me over one NLR break (which has happened to some staff before).
In other words, I want those who want the help, get the help, and for those who are making others feel uncomfortable to face the consequences.
If you have any questions, be sure to contact me on steam and/or these forums.
Happy Hanukkah to Zarp!
