Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.

When I became a player I became a member of the community, when I had a job to keep the community clear of rulebreakers, which I did a great job in if I may say it myself.
There were times where I learned from other staff members(even players ) and there was, mostly, the time where I learned people on how to do certain things, or tell them what they can't or shouldn't do.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).

I pity the times I couldn't ban a mass rulebreaker due to Admins being AFK or not present at all.
There was this guy yesterday, well 3 guys; All 3 started proppushing/minging, so I made the decision to freeze 'me all three together, give them a verbal and slay. Not even 10 second later(it happened on server 2, spawn) they start doing it again, o well, /warn <steamid> Proppush after verbal and slay!, to all three of them. O hence, they do it again?!? Freeze them all three, tp to a roof, have a word why they are doing it, One has the Allah akbar theme song playing, other one keeps saying nigger, other one calls me gay. Hmm, to kick them or wait for an admin to come online/respond? I'll kick them, maybe they will learn it. Actually I warned them for Terrorism slurs, racism slurs and disrespect. 3 warning strike, k-k-k-kicked! They rejoin, but what a surprise; they start doing it again! Froze them again, waited 5 minutes, called for help once more in admin chat, finally a response! They all 3 get banned, should've been banned(the racist and terrorism slur guys) even before the third warning

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?

You warn someone for a rulebreak in a way you think that's appropriate.
A verbal first? Sure, that's nice if it's a little mistake, they repeat doing it? Warn them then!

Use @ or /// to chat in admin chat to get any help or tell things which aren't meant for users to know.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Hey there buddy!
You were never banned before, I will have a word with other staff members about your ban, it might be lowered or even removed, just make sure you read the rules thouroughly and don't rulebreak again if your ban is lifted, because else it'll be a permanent ban
