So no this isnt worth a demote however I suggest that you apologize to the person.

From what i can guess this was an escalated situation which could of been easily sorted. You have your moderator powers for a reason you could of easily gagged or muted them which would of stopped half of this.

You do however need an attitude change there is no point acting all smug on here saying you are not going to get demoted because of this you never know. You do need to change how you speak to people this is not okay you wouldnt want someone speak to you like this so dont do it yourself.

So if someone could please lock this as they are not getting demoted so that has been Denied but they do need to apologize and have an attitude change.
