Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command.

Well, I don't want to choose only one, so I'll just explain a couple.

1: Player x joins the game, RDM's a lot of people, and leaves to avoid punishment. A ban on Player x would be appropriate.

2: Player x uses hacks for self-benefit, or for fun. A very lengthy ban / perma-ban would be appropriate for Player x in this situation.

3: Player x is disrespecting everyone on the server with very offensive names. A lengthy / very lengthy ban would be appropriate in this situation.

4: Player x is threatening another player with a death / DDoS threat. Lengthy / Very lengthy / Perma-ban would be appropriate in this situation.

5: Player x is spamming the chat with offensive language, advertisement, etc... . A lengthy ban would be appropriate in this situation

6: Player x start's micspamming, after getting gagged, he starts spamming the chat, and he gets muted. After getting ungagged and unmuted, Player x still will not stop. A short ban would be appropriate in this situation.

7: Player x get's on the server with an alternate account before his ban is over. A perma-ban would be appropriate in this situation.

8: Player x starts promoting hate speeches. A very lengthy / perma-ban would be appropriate in this situation.

9: Player x starts using a known exploit for his benefit. A ban would be appropriate in this situation.

10: Player x starts swearing a lot, and won't stop. He get's gagged and muted. After this, he gets ungagged and unmuted. Player x still won't stop swearing, a short / medium length ban would be appropriate in this situation.

I am the admin that banned you for Cheating. After reviewing your appeal, and discussing this with other staff members, I have decided to reduce your ban to 2 weeks.

During those 2 weeks however, please try to review the rules, and socialize with fellow staff members and players of our server by talking to them and playing other games with them through our TeamSpeak, or through Steam.



Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words).

After being Moderator for over a month, I finally got the courage to make my Admin application. I enjoy playing with my friends on TTT, whilst being able to help them at the same time. Personally, I love doing reports. I laugh at the ridiculous answers to reports that occasionally come. Of course, if I got promoted to admin, I can finally ban people and say that I "Purged them", since I'm a communist. Sounds like a very good dream to me, and I work for those dreams.

If I were to get promoted to Adminge, we would have another admin, which means we would have less admins getting disrupted because there wasn't an admin on whilst someone on the server is doing something ban-worthy. I get annoyed as well when I slay someone, warn the same guy, and he leaves, and I don't have the opportunity to ban him on the spot, and I have to depend on another fellow staff member so that I can make the players on the server happy, and even then - when I call the admin, the admin might be upset because he was maybe doing something important.

Whilst playing on TTT this month, I believe the players got to know me better, and I got to socialize a lot with our staff and stuff on TeamSpeak and in-game. So if I were to get Admin, I would have no problems with anyone in my opinion. And as far as I know, I didn't really do anything bad as a staff member besides a few accidents.
