Wasn't aware that posting on an old topic was disruptive, offensive or abusive. I must be living in an alternate reality or something. Still doesn't justify an instant 1 day ban. Is it really that hard to delete a post and give a warning?

The admin makes the decision. You're not the only one that got banned for necroposting.
