Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
I've been a mod for around 2 months now but this week i want to change that. I've caught lots of rule breakers and negotiated with lots of people but not just that I've learnt lots of new thing and how the f1 system works this has been a wonderful experience for me and lots of new people i have met on the way. I've waited this long so i know im ready to take on a bigger responsibility so i can deal with f1's more efficiently.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
there was a time where there was near to no staff on that could remove props so there was this guy blocking the bank with like 7 fading doors with an added layer of non-faded doors so i teleported the person and asked for them to remove them but he was afk and when he came back he refused to remove them so i kicked him and all his props disappeared, this fixed the problem.
if you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
Hello and welcome to the zarp staff team. This will teach you about all the commands, also the f1 and f6 systems
First, lets go through the basic commands and we will get harder as we go along
1: /tp this command will teleport you or a player to your crosshair depending on what you do eg. /tp [player name] or just /tp for you
ps. it is advised you bind this command as its the quickest way of travel as a mod
2: /goto this is another tp command except it goes to a player eg.
/goto [player name]
3: /bring yet again another tp command this will bring a player to you
eg. /bring [player name]
4: /back this will teleport a player or you to their last location
eg. /back [player name] or /back if you want to make you go back
5: /warn this is probably one of the most important commands you will have as moderator as it is a way to punish somebody for doing wrong eg. /warn [player name] [reason]
6: /kick this kicks a player from the server but this wont be used often if you do your job well or only in dire needs but anyway
eg. /kick [player name] [reason]
7 last but not least: unban from job you will need to use this for unbanning a player that might have been false demoted from a job
eg. hold Tab then go to the players name with your mouse click on it then below their name and picture there should be an option that says "unban from job" click on it then select a job you want to unban them from.
now the F1 and F6 system
F1: a player will create an f1 then you will see the f1 in here but not only that you can decide what to do with the f1 eg. do the f1 or discard the f1. that not it though you can also see the logs and recent warnings been given out but another staff member.
F6: this allows you to check the warns of a player which might be useful for when in a meeting and trying to find out the recent warns for the player that has applied.
Thank You For Reading This And Good Luck With Your New Responsibility!
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
first i would talk to them personally and see how they act around me and see if they sound sincere if they do i will take that into consideration and talk to another staff member to see what they think and depending on the result on all this i will lower the ban to 3 days to a week.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
i think i should be promoted because i contribute a lot and a lot of time into zarp and i don't think being a mod is efficient as being an admin and many people will know the lack of efficiency is kind of putting me off f1's but starting from tonight i have decided to make a change in my attitude towards f1's and players around zarp. i feel i am really dedicated to zarp and the amount of time and experience i have from being mod makes me think this is perfect time to apply.
thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of the meeting lads!
