Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule, or NLR is a rule which applies right after you die. You have to wait in spawn for 3 minutes and forget what happened in your next life.
Example: Bill is raiding Tim, and just killed Tim. Tim then rushes out of the spawn, back to his base ignoring NLR and then kills Bill unexpectedly.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is when a player sends a text using the wrong "chat command". Adverts, OOC and PMs are for specific things, and should not be abused.
Example: Someone says in OOC: Selling milkor for 2m each!
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would ask player y if he admits to breaking NLR. The console shows proof, but I would ask player x if he has proof. And player y if he has proof of waiting the NLR timer. If so, player x gets a warning for a false F1. Otherwise, player y gets a warning.
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would tell him to use the correct chat "command" and warn him for Metagaming. The reason I wouldn't have warned him earlier, is because it seemed like he was only doing what he thought was right, and that it would be unfair. But after all he was rulebreaking and a warning is not really the end of the world. As it says, it's really just a warning.
I will also try to check the forums and go on Zarp more often, since you think my activity could be better.
I don't know what happened, but I remember finishing the things you asked me to complete. I think it might have been bugged or something.
