You can collide textscreens but its <strong>not </strong>allowed as they cannot be destructed. (try blowing it up with an explosive).
You can only have 3 textscreens, so you can't really spam them.

I'm proving that in the rules textscreens have the same rules surrounding them as props. Which as you've said, they do.
