Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Well RDM basically boils down to someone being killed for a non RP reason. I.E. Player 1 buys a grenade and lobs it into a group of players talking by the banker killiing 3 players then says " for the lulz!!1!"
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
This means that after you die you are in a "new life & new body" and dont remember anything from before you died. you are also not allowed to return to the district in which you died for 3 minutes. I.E. The 3 players that were just killed by the grenade would not be allowed back into the main district ( district being defined as the area between two tunnels ) for 3 minutes
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaing is relaying in character information through the improper channels. I.E. Player 1 says in OOC " Hey player 4 get to the fountain so we can go raid player 3" as well as player 3 saying in OOC " will be there in a second im busy being raided"
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would bring both players to a rooftop. i would inquire as to what player 2's reason for killing player 1 was. from there it would really depend on the situation. but lets say player 1 had entered player 2's base i would ask why he says he was rdm'd inside player 2's base. if he said he couldnt be killed because player 2 did not have a "KOS" sign up i would inform him that player 2 did not need to place a "KOS" sign to kill people in his base. Alternatively if player 2 had simply said his reason for killing player 1 was "just because" i would tell player 2 that he cannot kill players without a valid RP reason and to please be careful from now on. as well as giving him a warning.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
i would TP to Player X and ask him what the situation is. lets say player y keeps coming into player x's base immediately after spawning. i would then check the logs for time stamp information to assess if he was indeed breaking NLR. once done with that i would TP player y to me and get his side of the story to see if player x had been spawn killing or hunting player y. if player y had infact been breaking NLR i would issue a warning and inform him of what NLR meant and that he should not enter the district for 3 mins. as well as if he was entering player x's base warn him for breaking the raid cooldown rule.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided.
I would wait out the RP scenario. ( if possible i might take part in the raid) i would then pull player x aside and inform him that he must not metagame and only use the proper channels for RP information. i would then return him to where he cam from
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). well im active ( at least on server 1 XD) i know the rules fairly well and would love to help out and keep the players inline. as well as i have been on before when no admins were on and people were acting fools by mass rdming and trying to crash the server with prop spam and by smashing around welded props to cause chaos. i have been actively reporting rule breakers and would be glad to be able to deal with the situations myself instead of waiting for a busy mod/admin to handle the situation and let the guy get away with breaking the rules.
