Did you talk to the lead team about the problems you were having? Seems silly to just resign over a said staff member. Either talk to the lead team and they will be more than happy to help you sort it out or just ignore the said person. However it's your choice bud it's not too late to reconsider and I suggest you at least think about it some more. Anyways best of luck with whatever you do.
