Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match (RDM) is when someone kills another person with no reason e.g a police walks up to a random guy and shoots him straight in the face without any reliable RP reason
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule(NLR) is basically going back in time about about 5 minutes so youpretend to forget what happened and you will not be able to return to the place you died for 3 minutes e.g if i died rading a base i cant return back for 3 minutes and cannot have revenge on them at all
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is using out-of-character messages/hints to use in-character. e.g you see a hit that's been issued so you use that out of character hint to benefit you in-character.e.g If i was getting raided and i got killed and then i advert/OOC saying my base is being raided please help.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would bring them both to me and ask for an explanation and if i dont get one i would warn the player who rdm'd
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
If the console proved that he did break NLR then i would explain to him that it isnt aloud and i would warn the player
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would privately message the player saying that i am unable to help unless the player raiding was braking any rules
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I love playing DarkRP so much and i think this is the best dark rp server me and my friend found in a while, most of the others were closed down. But as good as this server is i feel like there isnt many admins/mods on at the same time which leads to mass RDM that never gets sorted which annoys me, i understand i have been warned quite a couple of times but that was a bit ago when i first started and didnt know much about DarkRP and its rules. Now that i understand the rules i feel like i should help others learn them and make sure that they dont get as annoyed as i do when a problem doesnt get solved. I also feel like as well as being very serious when there is a problem i could be quite fun and help people as kindly and helpful as i can. Anyway if i dont get it thanks anyway
