Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:

An example of RDM is: Player A is walking down the street, meanwhile he comes across Player B who is minding his own business, suddenly Player A decides to kill the person for NO REASON making it RANDOM Death Match. RDM is a rule breaking offence as it is going against role - play, the only way this would be acceptable is if there was a Terrorist or Murderer job, which there isn't, making it unacceptable in every single way.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:

An Example of NLR is: Player A is holding off his base, to protect his printers, drugs and guns, meanwhile a group of people start to raid his base, resulting in the death of Player A; if Player A is to break NLR he has to go back within the NLR time period (around 2-3 minutes), this is what we call a rule breaking offence because in real life if you was to die you wouldn't be able to come back and kill the person who killed you, and Zarp is a Role Playing Server which is meant to symbolise a real-life experience. To summarise, NLR is returning to your death zone and taking actions in that zone within the NLR cool off period. This can sometimes link in with the Raid Timer as returning to a base which YOU are raiding after you have died within 3 minutes, is not only breaking NLR, but is also Breaking the Raid Timer as the Raid Timer indicates in !motd that you can only raid every 10 minutes.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.

Metagaming is where somebody is using /ooc (out of character) to type things that should only be said by pressing 'y' and nothing else, this allows them to say things to people across the map from then, which again, wouldn't simulate a real life experience, an example is Player A and Player B are raiding Player C's base, meanwhile Player A dies but Player B is still raiding, Player A uses the /ooc chat to tell the Player B what to do or even where items are in the base as he can see through death spectator mode.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player X accuses Player Y for RDMing him, the console log shows that Player Y killed Player X.
I would teleport both Players X and Y to a secluded roof where we cannot be disturbed and ask both of them what happened at different times to see both sides of the story, I would then take the information into consideration and examine the log and look for the key parts to both of the stories, as it is only RDM I would only issue the culprit with an active warning and let them go, however I cannot see if Player X was shooting Player Y, therefor in this case I would have to give them verbal warnings and stay away from eachother as there is not much I can do. I would then ask the players to check !motd as this would help them in future.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time:
I would tp them both to a secluded roof top and ask them both sides of the story, i would then decide a punishment as it would be during a peak time therefor kills being within few lines of each other, could mean they are straight after as Peak time means that the server could have anywhere between 70-80 people all raiding and mugging etc, however the punishment i would issue would only be a warning as NLR isn't anything that is TOO bad, but if i issued a warning, this may appear as a detterance to the culprit. I would then tell both of the players to check !motd as this would help them in future.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided:
Metagaming is a rule-break, but it is one of the minor offences in some cases, in this case i would tp the player to a secluded roof top and issue him an active warning, this is because it is a clear rule stated in !motd which the server tells you to look at as you join, and this is just a blatent offence, i would continue to question him and eventually tell him to check !motd for future reference and to stay out of trouble.

Why Should I Be Chosen?

During my time on ZARP I have had some great experiences, such as meeting new people, enjoying the real-life similarities in RP situations, and the whole Mining/Crafting experience!
I think I should be accepted as a moderator on Zarp's DarkRP server as I believe I am a candidate who can show that I am capable of taking on the most difficult situations that a DarkRP staff member can get in.
In the past I have had a taste of being a member of staff on a DarkRP server, on a server named ReptileGaming RP, a great server where I also met a lot of my friends, I was a Moderator for a while until I was finally made Admin, a very respected admin that is.
During my time at ReptileGaming, I tackled lots of different issues when it came to rule breakers, however I couldn't work to the best of my ability as it didnt have the warning and auto-kick system that ZARP has, probably because of ZARP's coders being brilliant.
But nevermind my past, lets talk about the future, and what an accepted Application would mean to me.
I would be one of the best members of staff, due to me excellent activity, and my passion for the server when it comes to rule breakers, I have found that there is only 1-2 admins online at certain times of the day on Server 2, and I feel like the server needs more staff, and with me spending the vast majority of my game time on server 2, I believe I am one of the best candidates for the vacant spot.
Please Consider Me as a moderator for this server, as I believe I can become a very successful member of staff, and help ZARP to become an even better server than it already is, and continue to show why ZARP is the best place to stay when you want to enjoy your free time!

Thank You So Much For Reading This, It is Greatly Appreciated, and if accepted, I vow to become one of the most active and best members of staff there is!
