RDM or Random Death Match is when a player kills or shoots someone for no reason e.g player x is walking down the street and player y shoots at/kills player x for no good reason.
NLR or New Life Rule is when you die you are not aloud to go into the same district for 3 minutes, it tells you how long left you have on the red timer at the top of your screen e.g player x is getting raided by player y, player x gets killed by player y, if player x come back into the same district before the 3 minutes waiting time then player x is ignoring NLR or New Life Rule.
Metagaming is when two players are talking in ooc or out of character e.g
player x: where are you
player y: I'm at the banker, I'll sell you the milkor for 1.5 million
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would take player x and y to the top of a building, ask them what happened, when I have heard the story I would look at the logs again and depending on the story I would probably explain what RDM is to player y, give him/her a warning for RDM and then advise him/her to read the rules.
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would take player y away, let him explain himself then depending on what he says I would explain what NLR is and I would warn him/her for NLR and advise him to read the rules.
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would explain what what metagaming is to him/her and then give him/her a warning for Metagaming.
I think I should be a moderator because I regularly play on Zarp and I know the rules and have been playing for almost a year. I would be happy to respond to any F1's that people make and I co-operate well with people and I am patient with people that are learning. I would keep an eye out for rule breakers and I feel that I would be good at being a moderator because in no matter what I play, I like to play by the rules. I am an active player and I tend to be on the server a lot. I am on teamspeak at times and like to have my little 'mess arounds', but doesn't everyone?
Thank you for the review.
