DarkRP related information

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.

Explanation:
Random Death Match (or: RDM) is the act of killing another player without any RP or other valid reason.

Example:
Player X walks up to Player Y, player X draws his gun and shoots player Y while player Y was just standing there.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.

Explanation:
The New Life Rule (or: NLR) is a rule that forbids players to return to the location where they died for a fixed amount of time, the player should act like he/she has been granted a totally new life and can’t remember anything from his former life.

Example:
Player X has been shot by player Y while player Y was raiding his base.
Player X then runs back to his base and keeps fighting player Y like hes never been dead.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.

Explanation:
The metagaming rule forbids players from talking about in character subjects in the Out of character (or: ooc) chat, it also forbids you from using information that you got from outside the game or from the ooc chat for in character advantages.

Example:
Player Z is guarding player Y’s base as they are basing together and player Y is somewhere else, player W and player X noticed that player Y is gone and raid the base.
Player Z calls out in Out of Character (or: ooc) chat:
(ooc) Player Z: Help player Y! Your base is getting raided!
Player Y responds:
(ooc) Player Y: I’m on my way player Z. (I’m also paying 200K to the person that shoots the raiders in my base. The base is located at the mines!)

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

I would take player X to a quiet place (like a roof), then I would ask for player X’s side of the story. After Player X is done with his side of the story, I would ask him to keep quiet while I teleport player Y to us and ask his side of the story, even if he’s lying.

I would then teleport player Y to us, explain to him why he is here and what player X accuses him of and ask for his side of the story. After player Y is done with his side of the story I would take a moment to compare it with each other and ask player X if he has some evidence I can take into consideration as well.

If player X fails to show me evidence and player Y denies that he killed player X randomly or without a valid (rp) reason I would then drop the case and verbally warn player Y and explain that he will be set back to his earlier location. Then I would talk to Player X about getting some evidence next time, and remake a F1 when it happens again.

If player X has valid evidence and it shows clearly that player Y killed him without any valid (rp) reason, I would then explain to player Y what he did wrong, and how it broke the RDM rule and tell him that I will /warn him for the behaviour and send him back to his former location. I would then wish player X a lovely day and send him back aswell.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

I would first say to player X that I will handle the situation and that I will return with the results. I would then teleport myself and player Y to a quiet place (like a roof) and tell him why he is here.
I will then tell him that I see in the logs that he died twice very quick after each other, and ask him why I see this in the logs and get a NLR report against him.

If player Y comes up with a valid reason (with some kind of proof) I would verbally warn him about the behaviour and send him back. After I’ve send player Y back to his former location I would teleport to player X and explain the situation and what I did, and then wish him a good day.

If player Y can’t come up with a valid reason or can’t show me some proof for his reason I would tell him why he is getting warned and how his behaviour broke the NLR rule. After the warning I would send him back to his former location. After I’ve send player Y back to his former location I would teleport to player X and explain the situation and what I did, and then wish him a good day.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

If player X hasn’t been metagaming before this incident I would verbally warn him to stop metagaming or he will receive a official warning, if he continues I would then officially him.

If player X has been metagaming before this incident I, and he was verbally warned by me or someone else about the metagaming I would directly use the official warning command and tell him to stop metagaming or he will receive another warning for not listening to a Mod on Duty.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).

Personally I think that my previous admin experience makes me a good candidate for the job, I know the rules and commands by heart and know how to deal with people. I personally like to help out the server and spend my time cleaning up the server so others can play in peace and fully enjoy the server.

I consider myself neutral in fights, and I can make important decisions in endless situations. I know how to calm frustrated people down and how to maintain control over the situation. I’m not scared to ask for help, and love to help out my colleagues if they are in need of help. I was personally trained by Xhantium when I got my moderator position the first time and also trained by him when I got my administrator position.

I love to make small talk with people, and give them the feeling that we as staff team members aren’t some gods, but players like them that enjoy the game and that we are there to help them out, not to screw them over.

I thank you for your time, and would love to hear what you think about my application.
