Elemental's Moderator Application

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match is where a player kills another player without a valid Roleplaying reason. A valid reason would be that a player was being robbed, raided, etc. An example scenario would be that a citizen has just spawned and walks into the main district whilst another player for example a thief walks past and kills the citizen for no reason.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
When a player dies, they begin a new life, and they must forget everything from their past life. They cannot return to their previous location without waiting at least 3 minutes. An example scenario of this would be where a player who is defending against a raid is killed. They then cannot return to their previous location until the NLR timer expires.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is where a player uses OOC (out of character) to contact another player and make use of knowledge that other characters are not supposed to be aware of. An example scenario of this would be that a gangster's base is being raided with only one player inside. That player would then use OOC to call for assistance from the other gangsters around the map that are unaware.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would go to player x, introduce myself, take them to a quieter environment if needed and ask for details on what has happened. I would also ask if player x has any proof as such. If I believe that there is a valid reason to bring player y to the situation, I would do so. I would question player y and ask for their point of view in the scenario. After I have heard from both parties and using any proof as necessary, I would grant correct punishment if needs be.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would go to player x, introduce myself, take them to a quieter environment if needed and ask for details on what has happened. I would also ask for any proof as such. If I believe there is a valid reason to bring player y, I would do so. I would continue to question player y and ask for their point of view. After having heard from both parties. I would deal with the situation calmly.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would go to player x and bring him away from roleplaying. I would provide knowledge on the rules of the server towards the player and recommend that he takes time away to review the rules. Judging that this was a first offence I would issue the player with just the verbal warning. Any continuous metagaming and the player will receive further punishment.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
I should be chosen as a moderator because I'm extremely enthusiastic in and towards the server. I enjoy every aspect of ZARP Gaming, the forums, the community and definitely the staff. Since being part of the ZARP community previously, I got to know the staff really well and how they work. I've understood that the staff are very welcoming and friendly yet also hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I am incredibly trusted and a hard working team member. I believe that my performance as a super admin a few months ago has proven to the management that i am more than capable of stepping up to any task. I am a very mature and understanding person and I know I would try my best to be showing high performance for any role I may achieve later through my experience. I would continue to help players throughout my time with zarp as a staff member or not. I've been with them before and I quote, "Zarp just feels like a fmily to me". I will ensure that players are following rules as they should and helping anyone that seeks assistance. I understand that the role of a moderator can be tough at times, however I've dealt with much greater problems since I've had the chance to experience the role of a super admin. I am fully prepared for anything that is thrown my way and this time, I feel like nothing can hold me back from what I look to achieve with zarp. I have a passion within the ZARP Gaming community, I look forward to experiencing it with you, the more recent staff members.
