It's actually funny that this is being mentioned because when we first decided to use ranks we were originally going to use German ranks but decided against it for two reasons

1: Most people aren't familiar with German ranks and it would be awkward as hell seeing a bunch of English players trying to say something like Hauptsturmführer (captain)

2. There is also the fact that we implemented ranks into our gang not long after we had to change our name because "It was too nazi related" or something stupid like that and in all honesty the last thing i want is to have a bunch of admins trying to suck our souls out for having SS ranks(looking back at my own post I would really blame them if they did)

U.S. Army ranks are the easiest to use and that's why we decided to use them, however if you're looking for a more "original" ranking system I would recommend using something other than a ranking system translated to another language (example of what not to do: using Hauptsturmführer instead of captain)

If you're actually going to try and make the brotherhood seem like a respectable challenge to us four or anyone else who's in this gang business then I would recommend creating an entire new ranking system or at the very least use one that's more original like something from ancient times (example: using a rank like "Praetorian" for high ranking members)

"Saying only one gang can use military rankings and everyone else who does on ZARP is copying 4th empire is just childish" jack basically took the words out of my mouth so I won't bother saying anymore about the whole "copyright" discussion. All I'm going to say is if you want to be taken seriously actually put effort into your ranking system.
