I understand but it is sad because American is not a separate language, just because they have a different dialect and slight grammatical changes. It is infact American-English not American which implies it is just like any other country that speaks English with a spin on it. It would be like me implying I spoke Scottish even though in Scotland we speak English but have a different dialect and some added vocabulary from our past.

So yeah... You speak English and English is how I see it. Maybe I speak Scottish and English I must be bilingual xD
