Whilst it is true that the only reason the server gets players is because of the minecraft map, I highly doubt they will revert it back to been 24/7, and theres no way a second server will be released again after what happened to the old one.

I do think the map rotation needs to be thinned out at the very least as there are a lot of really bad maps on there that nobody wants to play.
