Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
The main ban reason I will come across is for Mass RDM and LTAP or Continuous Mass RDM, which varies in length depending on recent punishments. The rough guide to follow is as follows:

• 1st ban: 1-3 days
• 2nd ban: 5-7 days
• 3rd ban: 10-14 days
• 4th ban: 3-4 weeks
• 5th ban: 6-8 weeks
• 6th ban: Permanent

Another common ban is for too many recent punishments. If a player has around 6 recent punishments and breaks another rule, they can be banned, following the same guidelines listed above. It's worth mentioning that banning will always be a last resort, especially with the current state on the server.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that Staff Member x banned them permanently for Exploiting, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

I would first contact the staff member that banned them and get more insight on the situation and talk about what exploit the player did. From there, depending on the time of the ban and what the exploit was I would accept or deny the appeal. Examples of these are as follows:

My interest for TTT as a gamemode has been reignited from the long break I have had. I want to come back and help get the server back to its former glory. I believe many changed are needed for the server to maintain the influx of players it has gained lately and as an Admin I'll be able to help out with suggestions and testing (hopefully) much easier, as well as staff the server to make it as enjoyable as possible for all.
