Give and explain 3 situations in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
You would use the ban command when handling and accepting a ban request on the forums.
Not following the rules of a coinflip (i.e. scamming) would result in the use of the ban command.
You would ban a player if they were to have several recent punishments (i.e. warns/jails/kicks) and continue to break rules.
Explain in detail the main functions of the F1 menu and how this can be used to help you deal with situations on the server:
Luckily I had a picture of the F1 menu from my last application, so it should help by giving a visual representation of the different functions.
So as you can see there are 4 different tabs: Admin Requests, Warnings, Logging and Active NLR. Most of which is pretty self-explanatory. The more useful part would be the Logging tab, where you can see pretty much everything from death logs to name changes. It is a great tool to help figure out what happened when it comes to a sit. The Admin Requests tab, The Warnings tab and the Active NLR tab are as they say; Admin Requests is where you can see who has made an F1 and what for, Warnings shows you the recent warnings given out to players by staff, and Active NLR shows who currently has NLR.
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation: You witness Player A being verbally abusive towards you through voice/chat whilst you are carrying out your administrative duties.
I would give them a chance by telling them stop, if they continued I would just voice/chat mute them for a set period of time.
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation: Player A makes an appeal on a ban that was placed on them permanently for prop spamming, putting great apology and detail into the appeal, admitting to what they did. Explain the process of how you would handle this appeal.
First I would post a reply to let them know that I'm handling it. Then I would get in touch with whoever banned them to discuss the appeal, where we would look at how long they have been banned for as well as other factors. Assuming it's genuine and the other staff member agrees, I would post the verdict:
After reviewing your appeal, I have decided to unban you. You seem apologetic, so please don't propspam again.
It might be worth re-read the rules (here). Take care.
Why I should be promoted:
I've held staff positions with Surf, Bhop and SSRP in the past, and I've always believed that I've done a good job. Since returning to SSRP I've maintained good activity and have really enjoyed all the new content. I have good experience and I feel that I could be a great addition to the team in helping out new players and maintaining the rules as an admin.
