Hi euan,
I've already explained this in DMs but I just wanted to include my message here so that the wider community can understand the thought process behind the demotion to moderator a little more:
I personally voted for a demotion to moderator given that I felt an official warning wasn’t enough however that he should be given some degree of leniency based on the fact that, without being approached about it, he went and apologised and clearly felt incredibly bad about what he’d done, and has done a very good job ad a staff member. I was between a full demotion and a demotion to moderator but given his time as a staff member recently and the fact that he did clearly show a lot of remorse, a demotion to moderator was a fair punishment.
If anyone else has any questions or concerns regarding the decision, feel free to contact any member of the SSRP Lead Team or the Community Team and we will be more than happy to explain!
Trust me, he doesn't regret it one bit the amount of times he said the n word with the hard r in discord calls is absurd.
Being called the hard R is less of a problem than the N word. Eventhough it is both a issue, but also depending on the situation; Mostly the person who reports someone for calling you the hard r mostly uses it by themselves
