Seems kind of rare. probably an issue due to the shape of the barrels collision in which the player goes slightly below the center point and gets pushed down due to the shape widening at the bottom, that's assuming the collision of the barrel matches the physical appearance.

On a side note, that music at the start was beautiful and to be completely honest, 10/10 would want to hear again.
