Thanks for the feedback. What do you recommend doing since you say "hasn't done much of significance"?
Sorry I was wrong, your significant task of today was allowing multiple on duty staff members to destroy new players bases and RDM users in the name of your
self proclaimed unofficial events. Then when asked to take the responsibility chose to blame the victims, for being too ignorant to realise there's admins having fun and they should be more tolerant of 500 damage dealing rockets flying into their bases!
Definitely gonna have to double down on this one and say
-support
If this is true then I hope both of them dont get accepted. Sure I dont play and I dont know what they do but even I feel like they don't do anything super duper to stand out. And events like that should be supervised by a HA+ and make sure there is nothing going on within that district, and if there are players doing whatever then pay them to leave or respect them and dont say fuck it
Ironically Pie and Joshua's whole thing is hosting events, that's all they do on a regular basis.
I understand how that can be viewed as lazy and not HA material. However, at the same time I view it as them trying their best to keep the server interesting and alive between major updates.
They're not trying to keep the server interesting and alive by doing mistakes like this to ruin the experience for new players trying to figure out what the server is like. It's the hoster of the event (In this case Pie and Joshua(?)) to make sure everything is in control and that people aren't using an event like this to loophole the rules(ex. raid timer etc). It's all Pie and Joshuas fault for letting this happen and they failed what they were supposed to do
Personally i don't feel that we did "fail at what we are meant to do" since the guy even stated later that he likes the server. We even helped the guy out after his base base got exploded so im not sure why nafe posted this in the first place. And again, this wasn't our fault for letting it happen since it was a mistake in the first place, it seems like you think we purposefully shot a rocket at a new guys base when in reality, he was basing right next to the event area.
So it wasn't your fault for hosting an event which led to an innocent player getting raided and innocent players dying? I assume you did not inform the player know what was about to happen. It was a mistake on your end and maybe keep in mind for next time to check the areas where you are hosting events.
All event areas are clearly marked with text screens and are announced, including the location, with an rp_tellall (a very noticeable banner at the top of the screen). If you and Nafe think Pie and Joshua did something wrong here, feel free to make a report abuse or contact a Head Admin+ over Discord to discuss it further.
So what you're saying is that if a Staff member wants to host events by announcing it, all players basing in that specific area
must leave?
By all means they can stay, but if their base gets destroyed then people shouldn't be upset. The new player didn't actually care, nafe was just trying to start shit as usual. Joshua was spectating them both and the new player even said he didn't give a shit
But I feel like you should handle it profesionally and accept them and do it elsewhere instead of just be that guy saying "Oh well, dont be upstet if you get caught in the crossfire".
Im sure 99% of people would agree with me on what i just said. Moving an entire event because a guy go hit with a rocket doesn't make sense. JMT even gave him compensation and you guys still feel the need to argue about it. As Xnator stated, if you feel that i did something punishment worthy then feel free to report me instead of flooding my application with hate

I'm not going to create a report because I wasn't there and don't know for sure what happened. I just have yours and Nafes words.
And it doesn't matter if someone gave a user a compensation for getting raided because of an event, it's about high staff members not having control of an ongoing event. If he was basing elsewhere then fine, whatever. But if the guy was basing in let's say Rich District and you hosted an event in that district, wouldn't you like to make a deal with that user first instead of telling him "oh well dont be upset"? That's what i've been saying and I hope you agree with me.
And this isn't hate, it's about having a conversation about how you handle things as Super Admin going for Head Admin.
I just don't think you're HA material just yet
