Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
I would appropriatelly ban players, if they would have collected 7 recent punishments within the last two week. (would consider it, if i would find out that one of the recent is just about to expire.) Another valid ban would take a place in a situation, where a player would commit Mass RDM and then proceeds to ltap.

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology, and effort. You check the ban list and find that Staff Member x banned them permanently for Exploiting and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Why I should be promoted:
I have been moderator on Zarp server for nearly full month now and i believe that it brought me overall much experiences with staffing. Yes, I made few mistakes, but I managed to learn from them and i think I now am able to handle any report responsibely. I got in touch with almost every staff and I don't have a conflict with any of them nor with normal server players. I feel like my promotion could improve the server environment there, where my mod powers aren't enough. I also handle a lot of reports every week and have three-week constant activity as a mod which helped me to get into my role as a staff. I feel like I could help Zarp community even more and that I have enough experiences to be promoted.
