Someone in chat said they were planning to go on holiday to the country Niger, so I said ‘fun fact people from Niger are actually called Nigerois’ (this is true) because I can’t say anything as I have never been there myself, then Red muted me for 20 MINUTES. I don’t understand how I can get muted for that because I don’t understand where racism even comes into this

Can I at least have an explanation as to how it’s racist or even loopholing it, I don’t understand why he would think I would say such a thing with racist intent, as I personally thought that it was an interesting fact that not many people know
