Same as a normal appeal, reading through it making sure the template is filled in, making sure the user doesn't include my name as "Doesn't want to handle", reviewing any evidence if provided, and talking to everyone involved. After everything, I would post the outcome on the topic making sure that it's clear what will happen(ban lifted, shortened, etc.)
Explain some of the administrative features of TS3/Discord and when they're used
appropriately:
Moving people- there are a lot of reasons why you would move someone mostly into spacers. This should be mainly used for when the staff member wants to be in a private spacer and then has to move everyone to that spacer. Joining spacers-mostly used when the staff member wants to be in a private space with a few, could be used to discuss rule-breakers, handle situations or just get away from all the fuss Setting server/channel groups-Is primarily useful if you are a lead team member that would be training someone or a team speak head admin creating a gang channel and giving the people gang owner. Kicking from channel/Server- Used when someones breaks the terms of use, usually the first punishment they get after a verbal(so that staff ethos is enforced). Banning- When someone doesn't stop after a verbal/kick from the channel/server and they continue to break the terms of use they should be banned for a set amount of time. Removing avatars- When someone has an avatar that is breaking the terms of use the avatar should be removed and the user talked to/punished for it.
What would I do different with my new powers?:
Handling appeals and reports of abuse aren't the only things a head admin has to do, handling situations involving team speak/discord staff members is very important and also making sure the rules are being enforced by them properly. Training is something I'm good at doing and I obviously would train new staff members. Head admins should always be available to deal with situations both for team speak and discord and I believe I am able to do that.
Why me?:
Activity
I'm very active on both Team Speak and Discord(only in text channels though), I'm also always available and willing to help if someone contacts me privately.
Behavior on the server
When on the server I'm always friendly and always try to look after every user to make sure they are having fun. I never break the rules and I always get out of my way punishing rule-breakers. I hang out in public channels when no one else is around so people can reach me more easily.
Lead team experience
I have had a lot of experience being a lead team member in the past (look at signature). I have gotten used to how the lead team role works on Zarp as well as how to act accordingly. My training is very detailed and I am very professional.
Again a big thanks to Raeker because I used his general tips to make my application look better and more polished!
