The SSRP Loading Screen Competition
It is time again for new and improved Loading Screens for the SSRP server! The last competition for this was done back in 2016 nearly 5 years ago! Its now 2021 and the Community Team would love to see the players create brand new loading screens for the server!

What sort of background do we want?
We'd like to focus more on what makes the ZARP server great this time around with an in-game screenshot. Ideally the screenshot would include a number of flagship ZARP game materials for example the ZARP map, explosive and special weapons, special player models, familiar in-game items such as printers, drugs etc, large bases. You can use your own creativity though and include whatever you want as long as in meets the requirements section listed below.

What are the requirements for entry?
Because we want a great screenshot to represent our server and gamemode for months to come, there are a number of ground rules for creating your screenshot and entries that don't meet these rules will not qualify.

Minimum resolution of 1920x1080

There must be no text (or text screens), menus or HUDs in the image

The image must be in-game or include a large number of in-game items and materials if you have another idea

Your graphics must be on high settings with anti-alias enabled.

You can edit the image, and use post-processing effects either in Garry's Mod, in Photoshop, Source Film Maker, In-game camera or other software's.

Any Player Models used must also be on the Server.

You must be the original author of the entire image and agree to ZARP Gaming using your image on the loading screen and for other promotions.

What are the prizes?
There will be 3 winners and 3 runner ups. You can only win 1 prize per person, however, you can have multiple loading screens. The 3 winners will gain prizes along with their background being added to the server, the runner ups will only get their background added!



In-game Camera

Using the in-game camera in your hotbar will remove all huds. If you aren't able to use the photoshop etc, you can simply press number 6 and use the camera weapon in your hotbar take some decent screenshots in-game with the camera!

Tips/Ideas for making Loading Screens



When does the competition end, and how will the winner be chosen?
The competition will run for at least a week. You will have until Sunday 7th of February 4PM UTC to submit your Loading Screens. Since We want to find the best possible backgrounds/loading screens to represent our server for months to come, the Community Team will pick the winners on Sunday the 7th of February 9PM UTC.
