Give and explain 3 situations in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
The use of the ban command would be appropriate in the following scenarios:
➤ User A scammed User B, in addition to failing to comply and give User A his winnings after being given a second chance.
➤ User additionally breaking rules after acquiring more than 5 recent punishments.
➤ Attempting to crash or crashing the server, resulting in a permanent ban.
Explain in detail the main functions of the F1 menu and how this can be used to help you deal with situations on the server:
The F1 menu consists of 4 main functions, them being: Admin Requests, Warnings, Logging and Active NLR.
➤ F1 Menu:
In this section of the F1 system, Moderators and any higher rank are able to receive F1 reports made by Users in need of administrative assistance. The details provided are the following: Time since F1 was submitted, who submitted the report, the reasoning behind the report as well as who it's being handled by. When right-clicking on the F1 report, you are able to do the following: Handle the report, discard the report, or copy various important report information. It is of most importance that the F1's are being dealt with in order. Shall someone be AFK, the report is to be unhandled and moved on to the next one, until the user returns.
➤ Warnings:
This section features recently issued warnings. You are able to copy relevant information by right-clicking, as well as removing the warning should it be deemed false. You can see the following information there: Name of warned user, Steam ID of warned user, the reasoning of the warning, which staff member warned the user, as well as the active number of warnings the said user has.
➤ Logging:
Moving onto the most important part of the F1 system, the logging section. This part of the F1 menu features all recent logs of people who have: killed someone, died, changed their job, left the server, joined the server, who defibrillated who, arrests, unarrests, and so on. All logs are able to be copied by right-clicking on them. In addition, you can use the search bar located in the top-right corner to filter our logs you are seeking. You can insert stuff such as names, Steam ID's, actions, etc.
➤ Active NLR:
And last but not least, the Active NLR section, in which you can see users that currently have NLR in specific districts, as in other previous sections, you can copy these logs too by right-clicking them and then pressing "Copy".
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
You witness Player A being verbally abusive towards you through voice/chat whilst you are carrying out your administrative duties.
The way I would deal with such a situation would be in the following manner: I would first finish whatever administrative task I was doing - After that, I would refer to the abusive User and take him for a sit, in which I would talk to him. I would try and reason with him and see what the problem was, hopefully, we could resolve the situation in a civilized manner just by talking. If not, and he still proceeded to be abusive and rude, I would issue either a chat or voice mute, depending on in which he was being abusive, the length of the issued mute would depend on the severity of the situation in question.
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
Player A makes an appeal on a ban that was placed on them permanently for prop spamming, putting great apology and detail into the appeal, admitting to what they did. Explain the process of how you would handle this appeal.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words):
I'm quite hardworking, dedicated, consistent and active. I used to be a Head Administrator (generally LT for almost 2 years) on two servers, including SSRP, hence why I think that my prior staffing experience will benefit to the ZARP community as a whole. I've handled over 100 Appeals and RA's during my time as staff, trained over 50 staff members, handled (IIRC) approximately ~1600 in-game F1 reports, and contributed to the SSRP community significantly by being the inventor and godfather of the weekend events. I'm certain I can, yet again, do my fair share of work for the community, and make it a safe and fun environment for all!
Permission to apply straight for Administrator was given by Martin himself!
