Although your suggestion seems good in theory, there are some practical issues that would arise if I decided to implement this on Prop Hunt. It's unclear what would happen if every player had spectating disabled since free roam spectate is currently disabled while you're in a player team since it makes ghosting much easier. It would also prevent players from being able to record other players exploiting or hacking. It would cause more problems then it would solve.
