It took me a while to realise how my language can affect others, I still say some dumb ass offensive shit to friends and even to a wide amount of people like I did on SSRP not long ago, but when I'm in a public area or some form of setting I tend to try to refrain from using them as I don't want to somehow reinforce other peoples hatred or discriminatory behaviour, as some individuals may have genuine distaste to that certain minority the word tends to target.
