Hey Denis,

I have looked over this for you. I can't really speak for Xnator but looking at your post and the others that were deleted on that thread I can say that I would have probably deleted your post as well. My reasoning behind this is it is a very serious thread and your contribution was not really constructive. If you had put some more effort into your post like others on that thread did I'm sure it could have been left up, but it was just a one liner. Personally I would also like to see that type of discussion in a thread dedicated to it. I know you guys sadly don't understand this but this really is an issue of life and death. Either that be the person receiving the harassment being pushed to unfortunately make a permanent decision to end their life. Or on the other side when the people doing the harassment get caught up by the law and have their lives ruined as well. I feel if you have imminent knowledge that a crime has been committed and you do not report it you are failing your obligation under the social contract that we all so much enjoy. Not to mention it gets even more weird legally because I would imagine a prosecutor who if got access to discord chat logs would look to go after anyone who had promoted it as server owners or moderators that allowed it to happen on their platforms. As well as go after anyone who had engorged such activities (Laughing at it, supporting, ect).

This is even more so the case if the person falling to report is a member of the staff team. Someone who we have put a large amount of trust in and given them the authority to decide who gets to play on servers and who doesn't. How can we maintain that level of trust with someone who won't even do the simplest thing and report to us when illegal activity is happening against members of the community. Obviously that would be something we would be very interested in hearing about regardless of if the person is community banned and honestly even more if they were community banned. Because then we can make note of that and when that person eventually appeals their ban we can look back and say wow this person was banned for Doxxing people and it took him ten months of being banned before they stopped doing it. Then we probably shouldn't unban that person because its only actually been two months since they stopped causing trouble.

My last thought would be more general advise for everyone and it applies to both your interactions here and with people in real life. Its very important to consider how others perceive how you are coming off to them. Especially when dealing with text where it is very hard to convey infliction and other vocal ticks. Demanding a response and then instantly going on about how your post was falsely removed not just removed. Instantly sets a hostile footing and is no way to have a proper discussion of issues. I guarantee if you approach the situation in a non hostile way that you can have a thoughtful discussion were both sides can explain their reasonings and reach a conclusion. If you can't then I am more then happy to intervene and help moderate the situation. But you don't leave your self a great place to stand on when your being impatient and then set the tone of the conversation to be hostile. Xnator clearly told you that he was going to give you a reply but he was busy doing a meeting. Deleting a post and then giving a thoughtful explanation to someone as to why you deleted something are two completely different thing. Perception is key and while you can't always control what others perceive of you there are definitely things that you can keep conscious that will effect your interactions with others both online and in the real world. You will find you have a much better time in both when others perception of you doesn't come off as so negative.
