In the video you can see that Kayloom does have an opportunity to move, but he doesnt get very long. (He could have also moved back into the hut.) It looks like Kayloom planted the c4 and is blocking anyone from entering to prevent them defusing. There is a clear sense of urgency due to the c4 and you acknowledge the c4 as you are trying to see it through the window and defuse it straight away.
