The presumed intent of equipping you with a Juggernaut suit would be to put it at risk, which is something certainly more valuable than the $50k max ransom fee. I also don't particularly like that Kronen threatened to warn you on the spot - in a situation where he has a vested interest, it would make more sense for him to get another staff member to handle it.
