I don't know the whole situation but you shouldn't ever let one individual to get you, rather you could have reported the incidents to Chute, Xnator etc. and had them handle it or made a report on the forums if you felt like he was slandering and or harassing you.

I'd probably remove your signature if I was you, I understand you may be frustrated but you will regret it later on when you have calmed down, good luck with whatever you decide to do next bud.
