I personally feel slightly hurt that you think the updates are being "steamrolled", and I'm sure Chute would think the same. We're working hard to bring updates that people want, taking into consideration a load of ideas put forward by you and many other members of the community. These updates, no matter how "small" they may seem to you, still take a lot of time for one or two people to code and then test, fixing bugs, making backend improvements and trying hard to keep on top of all the new suggestions along the way as well whilst managing the community as a whole at the same time. ZARP is certainly not dying, and we still have a metric shit ton of ideas to implement, especially ones which we're just waiting on some final fixes on the map from EMP on. We're hoping to bring out an absolutely amazing update this summer which a lot of time and effort has gone into in terms of planning and implementation, and we've already laid out our plans for more gameplay features beyond that which EMP has already started to put together into the map.

What you've mentioned about Patrick is also not true. Patrick was offered payment for what he did and he decided he didn't want anything more than the games that he was being given by Chute. He moved on to a SWRP server because he wanted to work on something other than DarkRP/Downtown maps, which is understandable, and we're still on good terms with him.

If you have issues with specific staff members, feel free to report them with sufficient evidence. You make these complaints against staff but I am yet to see a report against anyone. Yes, Jaden may have appealed a ban, but you and others have not once complained properly about the staff members to anyone on the Lead Team or approached myself, Chute or Jim_Jam with these complaints/concerns if you don't feel comfortable sharing them on the forums or if you feel as though Lead Team members may be biased in any way at all (note the only denied SSRP report this month is this obvious troll from Jaden: zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/report-ab...demote-request-onion).

I'm personally trying my absolute hardest to keep on top of all of this, but these are all of the things that this requires:
  • Keeping on top of updates (code wise)
  • Running the community council and keeping on top of suggestions
  • Coming up with ideas for updates (working on top of some CC suggestions)
  • Managing the community as a whole, including drama which has stemmed from people such as Jusu and Na1 recently

On top of all of this, I am also trying my best to bring events and more community interaction and transparency in the form of my Twitch streams, where I do a shit load of giveaways out of my own inventory, run events on the server to keep people entertained and do my best to interact with members of the community and answer their questions on anything, including our plans and my thoughts on any specific situations (where it doesn't break NDA/TOU of course).

The only people working on updates are myself, Chute and EMP, with EMP working on the map at the moment and I've been trying to deal with the immense amount of drama and toxicity that has come up whilst also having end of year exams for college this week, which I've been able to do absolutely zero revision or work for because of all of this. All of this drama, harassment from certain people and extra work that I have is really not great following a particularly rough breakup recently. Please try to put yourself into our shoes and think about what steps you've taken to address these complaints before you put them across in the "ZARP is dying" and "CM Team don't care" light.

Please note I have not slept tonight
First off thank you for what you said about Patrick I did not know this and I apologize for getting that part incorrect. Second off I understand the work is there, it is a lot of work for only a few people I get that. I never said that the CM team does not care they have not in the past let's be clear on that. Things as of right now to me and to a lot of other people in the community believe these efforts and resources aren't going to things everyone wants. I do understand that the items take time to code but the same format has been used a lot. You cannot say with a straight face that the server is not dying looking right now both S1 and S3 have a combined 28 players on. Late at night years back, 28 players would be on 1 server alone. It is undoubtedly dying. With efforts being pushed for updates players would like to see a different scenery with updates, ways for everyone to be involved, and ways other than competing in a hitman event but ways for everyone to get along. I know you do not enjoy the toxic atmosphere Zarp has had in its history but in my opinion, there should be ways to bring the player base together as it is strongly split apart. The updates seem small to me and a large number of other players and although it takes a lot of work people want to see more. I am not a coder and I applaud you for working for Zarp and I have a lot of respect for you when it comes to something like that. When it comes to me or others not making full reports on staff members it is because of the same reason with jadens outcome. The belief and trust are always in the staff member and unless it is a vulgar and or extreme case of violation of code it is normally denied or hardly treated. As I have said too members now who are treated unfairly or too harsh just simply cannot care anymore, their ban appeals get denied so why make a staff report? The map has taken a very long time and it should be expected that members like myself are frustrated. In the real world, people who need something do not expect the person that can provide to say "well it is just extremely hard" or "there aren't a lot people helping we cannot do anything about it." Normally these roadblocks come with quick solutions now I do understand that finding another Xnator Emp or Chute now is harder than ever but working to find a good coder and another good mapper should be a top priority. You guys are overworked and need more help to more effectively take care of something like Zarp and it is proven to be like that. Looking at old staff lists, meeting outcomes, and LT members at that time. I can fully understand why it is taking so long to find skilled members but I believe some more searching could be done.
I would also like to mention I have not seen much if not anything from Jim_Jam, Chute is also very busy and he has been with Zarp its entire life span and it makes sense that he has been slower with replies and doing things. If I were chute I would have left Zarp a long time ago and I praise him for sticking around.
