Shotgun Character Upgrade

How would it benefit the server:
So seeing as shotguns are quite underused right now unless it's a bald gun dealer with a spas-12 then it's different, but they aren't really used much, quite like the smgs but now they are used more than before.

The way this upgrade would work could be either giving a 1.5x or 2x damage boost to shotguns with extended range. This upgrade would cost however the team chooses to have it, and I think it would be nice to see shotguns starting to be used as they are very neglected currently.

we have scope/sniper boost, smg boost and pistol boost so why not !?!?!?
