I've been Global Moderator for nearly 3 years(1st May 2017) and within this time I've proven my dedication as I have been dealing with a vast amount of issues with no intention of slowing down. While my main role is to moderate the forums dealing with posts that breach Terms Of Use and moving/locking threads, it is often for me to be found editing posts such as staff lists, errors found in templates or outdated information.
With my time-zone being drastically different in comparison to the rest of the forum staff team I've dealt with my fair share of spam accounts and Terms Of Use breaching posts when others aren't on, although this time-zone difference comes with a lack of communication with other staff members on a daily basis, however if communication is ever needed I attempt to get in contact as soon as possible to resolve the problem in a timely and productive manner.
I feel I am trusted within the community as I currently hold the rank of Super Administrator on Bhop(1 year 10 months, 10th June 2018) & Surf(1 year 10 months, 22nd June 2018), Head Administrator on Friendly Players SRP(2 years, 13th April 2018), Friendly Players Forum Administrator(3 months, February 5th 2020) and Section Moderator in the Community Votes 2017 Section on these here forums. Being apart of the Vote Confidence Team during the time of Community Decides 2018 allowed for me prove my trust in which my role within that team gave me a limited access to some confidential information to which myself and others were trusted enough with, as far as I am aware none of this information was ever leaked. This trust is what I feel is needed for someone going for such a high rank with commands such as; Checking user's IP addresses to counter alternate accounts, setting ranks.
When it comes to user reports, a user's enquiry about a staff member's actions or just general help on the forums I am easily contactable on Steam even if I am offline I still read the message and if I feel it is an urgent matter I will reply. User reports that I deal with are done in such a way that both parties are given a satisfactory outcome rather than just another ban being handed out and the reported party not learning from their actions. I've been asked about a few actions some staff members have taken I can only assume this to be due to my experience and trust within the community, when looking into these enquiries I try to understand the situation from both sides and explain to the user why certain action was taken over another. I'm always glad to help out wherever possible and people are always seeking help from me about such things as bbCode or template usage, I would like to further extend my help with the ability to restore deleted posts that may have been deleted on accident or did not breach the Terms Of Use. I have experience of catching alternate accounts with several reports to the current Forum Administrator team about suspected alternate accounts which end up being banned due to successful catches.
